Really enjoyed our dinner at Mr. Dak! We actually stopped in because it started raining while we were walking around Flushing, and it turned out to be a great find. The Pepper Fried Whole Chicken was crispy, flavorful, and still really juicy inside. The Mr. Dak Combo was also great for sharing, with three different flavors of boneless chicken👍🏻

Really enjoyed the fried chicken here! Everything came out hot, crispy, and juicy without feeling overly greasy. My favorite was the chicken with the black truffle aroma. The truffle flavor was surprisingly noticeable and made every bite extra fragrant and addictive. I also loved the creamy onion sauce. It was rich and smooth with a slightly sweet finish that paired perfectly with the crispy chicken. Once I started dipping, I honestly couldn’t stop! The different flavors made the whole meal much more interesting than regular fried chicken. Generous portions, great texture, and delicious sauces. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

Wow, oh wow this place has some seriously amazing and unique flavors! We tried the Mr. Dak Curry, and it was really, really good, especially with the cheese on top. We also ordered the burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and came with an amazing onion sauce that really stood out. Also got a side of Cole slaw which was refreshing! We also tried the chicken drums. They were very large portions, which wasn’t our personal preference, so we probably wouldn’t order those again. We’d recommend trying the wings instead. One thing to note: it was very cold inside, so I’d recommend bringing a sweater or jacket. Overall, the food was delicious, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Mr. Dak has, without a doubt, some of the best Korean fried chicken in the area. I used to be a loyal Bonchon customer, but after finding this place, that has completely changed. The chicken is always crispy, juicy, and cooked perfectly, and the Truffle Seasoning Bone-In Chicken is my absolute favorite. The truffle seasoning is incredibly flavorful without being overpowering, and it’s one of those dishes I find myself craving on a regular basis. Another must-order is their Bulgogi Fried Rice. Topped with a little seaweed, it has the perfect aroma and flavor. It’s rich, savory, and pairs perfectly with the fried chicken. It’s easily one of my favorite fried rice dishes in Flushing. The only downside is how popular the restaurant has become. Weekend evenings can get extremely busy, so if you’re planning to order takeout, I highly recommend placing your order ahead of time. We’ve waited over an hour for our takeout order before, so planning ahead can save you a lot of time. Overall, if you’re looking for outstanding Korean fried chicken in Flushing, Mr. Dak is absolutely worth a try. It’s become my go-to spot, and I highly recommend it.

This Korean restaurant was such a pleasant surprise! We ordered the army stew and a couple of fried chicken platters, and everything was absolutely delicious. The army stew had a rich, flavorful broth with ramen, rice cakes, tofu, and spam soaking up all that spicy goodness. The soup gets even better as it cooks down — bold, comforting, and perfect for sharing. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoned one had just the right balance of sweet and savory, and the original was perfectly fried without being greasy. We also loved the rice balls on the side — they paired really well with the stew. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant, with colorful wall art that makes it great for photos and group dinners. Service was friendly and the portions were generous. Definitely coming back again!
